The Livin’ is Easy at the Grape Life

First, let us confess ... we are not wine connoisseurs, we just know what we like ...

We love the Quad Cities. Here is where we grew up, raised our kids, worked, lived and played. We can’t imagine living anywhere else. (OK, we could skip a winter now and then, but you get the idea.)

We love getting together with our friends and opening a nice bottle of wine, playing cards, solving problems big and small, living, laughing and generally having a great time.

We love traveling and finding quaint little bistros or wine bars where you can have a great glass of wine, a little cheese, bread, crackers or other light fare. A place where the music and lighting are soft and the conversation is easy.

And, of course we really love great wine at a good price. We’ve never paid more than $30 for a bottle in our lives and we don’t think you should have to either. While we stock some very select wines at prices meant to catch the eye of area connoisseurs and collectors, our store is really designed with the novice wine drinker in mind. Our Grape Life classification system makes it easy to find the wines you like, or help you with the perfect pairing for that upcoming dinner. We’ve also selected some unique and handy wine gift items for that special "wino" in your life.

Our wine lounge offers "Group Therapy Taste Flights" that will help you expand your wine knowledge and appreciation. Or you can relax with one of a dozen different wines by the glass. For a nominal corkage fee we’ll also open any bottle in our store.
